  H&R Block is very good for doing my taxes

  Basically first time using the app. Paid for filing and due to an issue they had because of someone in H&R Block with my taxes for 2017. Not only was I not reimbursed but the people online said I couldn’t access my account because of the software or something. Smdh this was an even worse experience than me going in the store and filing for 2017 smdh.

  This app is amazing, just like the company. A LOT of people do not like H&R Block because they think their expensive! But you guys do the best for taxes! And I do mean, THE BEST!! I am so proud of you guys for improving and making sure everyone is understood with terms and conditions and why it happened or didn’t happen! You guys talk about everything! And you make sure those who have been with you for more then 10 years have the best quality and love from your company! You guys are the best! Keep up your love, kindness, and patience! And it will make this business boom more then it ever has!! Thank you so much for helping us! This app is even better and pretty easy to use! I will recommend this app!   I have always deposited my tax state check on this app this year they won’t take cause it’s over 180 days and the state won’t rewrite the check just stamp it to revalidate it. They froze my account and won’t tell me how long or answer my question as to if they will accept the check after it is stamped, as the check is good for a year like most checks. Didn’t even want to check cashed in minutes was willing to wait the 10 days. I have always held onto this check as long as I could and I was 6 days over the 180, I get it but no resolution or answers is the frustrating part as well as the fact they froze my account without even informing me.

  Had to delete the app because it suddenly decided to close out entirely before I could even log in. It worked perfectly for me for a couple of years but this week it just crapped out. I use my card A Lot and I use the app to access my appointments and to access my previous years documents. I hope this doesn’t last long. I’ll be downloading again and trying next week.   After this recent ios13 update all the app does is flicker when I try to open it. I’ve tried deleting said app and reinstalling it but nothing. Now I can’t use the app on my iPhone X cuz it just won’t open no matter how many times I try. Was working fine beforehand. Not sure if this is an isolated incident or maybe due to the new update but I hope the devs see this and fix asap. Other than that the app was a solid 5 star before this problem. Will gladly update review once app is looked into and possibly fixed.

  Updated the app to version 7.8.0, the app quickly closes once I select the “MyBlock” icon on my iPhone 10S. Prior to updating to version 7.8.0, the app was working just fine for me.

  I don’t know about anyone else but she. I open the app up and sign in; it asks for a secondary code that is sent to my email but when I check the code and come back to the app it logs me back out so you basically need to devices when logging in. But besides that the app is great it has everything you need for taxes.

  Said they would help me get my tax returns. Still have not got my return and it’s nearing the end of the year. I paid for the extra service for the guaranteed help. Never doing that again. I don’t recommend doing your taxes with HR block.

  With the newest update I’m having constant login issues. The app will open, but when I go to login it’s a blank white screen. I have to close the app completely and have to make multiple attempts. Today it hasn’t worked for well over 3 hours. The tap for balance feature doesn’t work either. I can’t get balance updates via text message either. So right now, I have no idea what my balance is.

  I have no problems with the app. I find it quite helpful and easy to use. My reason for not giving 5 stars is the necessity for security; which I completely understand given the need to keep information of this nature protected. I have face recognition activated on my phone, yet I’m required to use an additional code before it logs me in. Again, other than that it’s a great app if you want to track of your tax returns, refund information, and card balances.

  Absolutely disgraceful, I can’t check my balance, I can’t look at last years taxes, I can’t even get the app to open on my brand new IPhone XS....Something has to give...😑

  The app is a necessity if you are an Emerald Card holder. The Emerald Card is a great debit card offering. That being said...I can’t count on the app to consistently work. I spend way to much time uninstalling and reinstalling it. Don’t even try using the fingerprint ID. That will send you in to a vicious circle of frustration. When I’m able to access the app it works great.

  I have two accounts with H&R Block one for me and one for my husband. Why did we both doing user names and passwords? I go to log in for my tax information and have to send a code to my email or phone. This isn’t a problem unless your only using your phone. Because when you click back to H&R Block to use the code you then have to start all over aging. H&R Block‘s app has logged you out. Then you have to reapply for another code that you will not be able to retrieve because it’s a vicious cycle.

  I have gotten a new 2 times within this year and when I try to login it prompts me to put in a password because it doesn’t Recognize my phone however when I click out of the app to get the code I exit out of MyBlock and I can’t give the code because it starts my login over again

  I couldn’t sign in without having to fill out the information more than once because I had to check my text messages for the number & the app kept making me start all over! Then finally got that & couldn’t get verified for my taxes it said but I know I answered all the questions right!!

  I just downloaded this app to try to check the status of my refund but I couldn’t even get signed in. I opted to receive a code via text, but every time I checked my text it kicked me out of the app and made me start over. Then once I signed in via security question, it still redirected me to the IRS website, so there was no point in me downloading the app anyway.

  Frustrating app!Doesn’t recognize me after three years of doing my taxes with H&R Block!Then it wants me to verify who I am. It sends an email from the app but when I switch pages to get the code from my email it restarts the verification rejecting the now old code and generates a new code sending to my email!

  This app used to work GREAT! But this new update is awful and I am considering leaving H&R! I have tried to login multiple times, the app says “cannot recognizes device” I’ve been using the SAME device for over a year! It sends a security code to my email, and as soon as I switch from the app to my email the H&R app goes back to the home page so I can’t add the security code!!!! I have been trying for over an hour!! It also tells me my security question/answer is wrong! This new update needs fixed!!!!

  I’ve had it for years. Tried different devices. Never recognizes my phone but asks if I want it to remember it for next time? Says enter code they send thru email, but when you exit your phone to check email and get back in app you have to start over. Then they send a new code and can do this for ages. It’s faster and easier to check it thru the actual mobile browser. Just not worth the constant hassle.

  I just downloaded the app as a refresher. But now it’s not even opening at all. So currently I have no access to my card. Please fix this bug. Usually this is a terrific and reliable app.

  New update on or about June 2019 is bad. It ask me to log in, sends me a link with a security code but when I go to my email on my phone and back to the app, it starts the whole process over again. Please fix this because it is not convenient to boot up my computer every time I want to log into my app.
